Many times, when I ask a male patient why he came to see me he?ll often say, ?My wife or girlfriend told me I should have a physical.? This has made me realize that the women in our lives keep us alive. So now we can return the favor. September 29th is National Women?s Health and Fitness day who?s goal is to promote health awareness and physical activity for women of all ages. Please take the time to encourage your wives, mothers, grandmothers, daughters, granddaughters, nieces and any other woman in your lives to check in with their doctors on a regular basis and to stay active. Or maybe you could just spend some more time with them on a nice long walk.
